Noosa offers fantastic training facilities for triathletes of all levels including: - the Noosa Aquatic Centre (the NAC) with heated 50mtr Olympic and 25mtr pools; - protected Laguana Bay for ocean swims; - many National Parks offering both easy and hard running trails in natural surroundings; - many quiet country roads with fast flat sections and challenging hill climbs just a few minutes out of town; And of course we are also home to the world famous, Noosa Triathlon and Multisport Festival held every year in early November.
The Noosa Triathlon Club has a host of organised and casual swim, bike and run sessions to choose from, many supervised by a qualified coach to ensure Noosa Triathletes have the best preparation for their races. Training at Noosa caters for all abilities, with weekly squads for swim, bike and run operating all year around. Training services to club members and vistors are offered through Multisport Consultants and are all delivered by the experienced Nick Croft - former elite triathlete, qualified triathlon and swim coach and personal trainer. Nick has been actively coaching triathlon and multisport since 1995. His passion and love of the sport extends back to 1984 where he first raced as a 17 year old. Nick also coaches online and provides weekly training programs to athletes around Australia and the World on an ongoing basis. Junior training activities (ages 10 - 17yrs) are also well catered for at Noosa, with regular sessions run by the highly qualified triathlon coach, Kim Beckinsale of Tri Adventure. Further details and timetables covering both senior and junior training sessions are available on this website.Of course any casual visitors are always welcome if on holiday or just passing through. Due to our location, we nearly always have at least one or two visiting elite athletes at our squad sessions. |
